Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 15: Renowned Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar recently shared a touching video capturing the essence of Ganpati Visarjan festivities, expressing his hopes for Lord Ganesha's return next year.
On the social media platform X, Tendulkar posted the video along with the message, “Ganpati Bappa Morya, come early next year!”
The video showcased moments from the Ganpati Visarjan as Tendulkar participated with fellow devotees in concluding the Ganesh festival.
In related celebrations, actress Shilpa Shetty was seen with her family partaking in Ganpati visarjan, embracing the festive spirit with prayers. Former MP Navneet Rana also visited Shetty's home for Ganpati darshan.
Shilpa, who annually welcomes Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Chaturthi, performed puja with her family before saying goodbye to Bappa. For the visarjan, she donned a traditional Maharashtrian attire, featuring a yellow and pink saree paired with a matching blouse, complemented by traditional jewelry and a Maharashtrian bindi.
She was also spotted dancing to the rhythmic beats of dhol during the procession, relishing the moment with her family as they bid farewell to Lord Ganesha.
Shilpa's annual celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi is a cherished tradition for her. On the professional front, she recently appeared in the film KD: The Devil, produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, which draws inspiration from real events in 1970s Bengaluru.
The film features Dhruva Sarja in the lead role, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, and V Ravichandran. Additionally, Shilpa has taken on the role of host for the cooking reality show ‘Maa Hai Na.’
