S8UL Esports Expands with New Signing

Mumbai (Maharashtra) - On March 12, S8UL Esports proudly announced the addition of Ved "Beelzeboy" Bamb, the current Pokemon GO World Champion, to their team. This signing marks a pivotal moment as the organization broadens its competitive reach across various global esports titles.

Beelzeboy made headlines in August 2025 when he triumphed at the Pokemon GO World Championship, overcoming Spain's Leo "P4T0M4N" Marin in a nail-biting final held in Anaheim, California. The tournament featured 64 elite players from around the globe, and Beelzeboy showcased an impressive performance throughout the event.

His journey began with a decisive 2-0 win against Chile's IceCr1S in the upper bracket quarterfinals, followed by a 2-1 victory over Brazil's LNDsRargef in the semifinals, both matches being best-of-three series. Although he faced a setback with a 1-3 loss to P4T0M4N in the upper bracket final, he rebounded strongly in the lower bracket final, defeating LNDsRargef 3-1 in a best-of-five series. Carrying this momentum into the grand final, Beelzeboy secured the championship with scores of 3-1 and 3-2 against P4T0M4N, making him India's first world champion in esports and earning a prize of USD 20,000 (around INR 18.5 lakh), thereby placing India on the global esports map.

Expressing his enthusiasm about joining S8UL, Ved "Beelzeboy" Bamb stated, "Winning the Pokemon GO World Championship was a dream realized, and it was incredibly meaningful to represent India on such a grand stage. Joining S8UL marks another thrilling chapter in my journey. The organization has consistently elevated Indian esports on a global scale, and I am excited to be part of a team that shares the vision of pushing boundaries. Together, we aim to achieve more accolades for our country and inspire the next generation of players."

Originating from Nagpur, Ved began his Pokemon GO journey when the game was launched in 2016, gradually climbing the competitive ladder with consistent performances in both regional and international tournaments. Prior to his world championship win, he had already made a name for himself as one of the top competitors in Pokemon GO, having secured the Pokemon GO India National Championship title in 2024 and ranking among the best players worldwide.

In addition to his esports career, Ved is a software developer, balancing his professional life in technology with his passion for competitive gaming, showcasing the diverse career paths within the esports ecosystem.

Commenting on Beelzeboy's signing, Animesh Agarwal, also known as 8Bit Thug, Co-Founder of S8UL and 8Bit Creatives, remarked, "Pokemon is where many of us began our journey as kids – the first battles, rivalries, and love for competitive play. Our dedication to the Pokemon esports community continues as we welcome Beelzeboy to the S8UL family. His historic victory has demonstrated the potential of Indian players, and we are eager to see what the future holds as we continue to build from the roots of gaming to the global stage."

With Beelzeboy's addition, S8UL reinforces its legacy of representing India on the international stage across various titles. As one of the country's most esteemed esports organizations, S8UL boasts championship-caliber teams in multiple competitive games while also managing one of the world's most influential gaming content groups.

Beelzeboy's joining not only enhances S8UL's roster with a world champion but also underscores the organization's commitment to fostering top-tier talent and expanding India's footprint in the evolving global esports landscape.
