Rudrankksh Patil Takes Gold in 10m Air Rifle Event

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India]: On May 9, Maharashtra's Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil secured the gold medal in the Men's 10m Air Rifle event during the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy.


Patil achieved a score of 252.9 in the final, placing him at the top of the podium. The silver medal went to Haryana's Rohit Kanyan, who scored 251.9, while West Bengal's Baiduriya Biswas took home the bronze with a score of 230.8. Uttar Pradesh's Karamjeet Singh finished in fourth place with a score of 209.6.


In the qualification round, Delhi's Paarth Makhija led with a score of 633.4, followed closely by Railways' Shahu Tushar Mane at 630.0. Gujarat's Gajjar Krish Jigneshbhai qualified third with 627.8, and Rudrankksh Patil entered the finals in fourth with 627.7.


Junior and Youth Competitions

In the Junior Men's 10m Air Rifle category, West Bengal's Ashmit Chatterjee emerged victorious with a final score of 251.0. Uttar Pradesh's Piyush Sharma earned the silver with 250.5, while Haryana's Rohit Kanyan secured bronze with 229.1. Karamjeet Singh from Uttar Pradesh finished fourth with 207.9.


Piyush Sharma also topped the qualification round with an impressive score of 631.7, followed by Ashmit Chatterjee at 631.1 and Rohit Kanyan at 630.4. Karamjeet Singh qualified fourth with 629.9.


In the Youth Men's 10m Air Rifle event, West Bengal's Abhinav Shaw clinched the title with a score of 254.4. Haryana's Priyanshu won silver with 249.7, while Jatin Lamba from Haryana took bronze with 228.1. Rohit Kanyan finished fourth with 207.1.


During qualification, Haryana's Pranav Jindal led with a score of 626.1, followed by Krish Kumar from Haryana at 626.0. Rajasthan's Nemi Chand Dudi qualified third with 625.9, and Uttar Pradesh's Jyotiraditya Gosain secured fourth with 625.7.


Team and Other Results

In the Men's 10m Rifle Team event, Uttar Pradesh (Piyush Sharma, Pratham Bhadana, Harsh Surya) took first place with a total score of 1885.6. West Bengal (Apurba Podder, Abhinav Shaw, Stotroraj Das) followed closely with 1884.9, while Maharashtra (Rudranksh Patil, Gajanan Khandagale, Pritam Kendre) finished third with 1884.5.


In the Sub-Youth Men's 10m Rifle category, Karnataka's Shishir Ambekallu Mahesh won with a score of 626.9, followed by Darsh Pruthvi (Karnataka) at 626.5 and Ranvijay (Haryana) at 624.9.


In the Master Men's 10m Rifle event, Sameer Ramesh Ambekar from Railways took gold with 608.4, while Sachin Pal Bhangalia from Himachal Pradesh secured silver with 604.9, and Yogesh B. Gadmale from Railways won bronze with 603.2.


In the Deaf Men's 10m Rifle category, Uttar Pradesh's Pranav Tiwari won with a score of 626.3, followed by Shourya Saini (Uttarakhand) at 625.2 and Arun Panchal (Haryana) at 623.8.


In the 50m Rifle Prone Men event, Niraj Kumar from the Navy scored 623.3, while Sidharth Gaur from the Army followed with 622.5, and Swapnil Suresh Kusale from Railways scored 621.7.


In the 50m Rifle Prone Youth Men category, Karan Singh from Haryana won with 612.1, followed by Maharashtra's Satyajeet Deelip Mohite at 611.0 and Swapnil Suresh Kusale from Railways at 606.5.


In the 50m Rifle Prone Senior Master Men event, Kushagra Singh Rajawat from Madhya Pradesh scored 610.9, while Bhupendra Pratap Singh from Uttar Pradesh scored 603.1 and Arun Panchal from Haryana scored 599.9.


In the 50m Rifle Prone Men Team event, the Army team (Chain Singh, Niraj Kumar, Adriyan Karmakar) won with a score of 1869.6, followed by Railways (Swapnil Suresh Kusale, Akhil Sheoran, Arjun Babuta) at 1868.0 and Haryana (Rohit Kanyan, Deepak Dalal, Nishant Rawat) at 1858.7.


In the 50m Rifle Prone Junior Men category, Adriyan Karmakar from West Bengal scored 626.2, followed by Rohit Kanyan from Haryana at 625.3 and Vedant Nitin Waghmare from Maharashtra at 624.7.


In the 50m Rifle Prone Master Men event, Chain Singh from the Army scored 623.7, while Deepak Sharma from Delhi scored 620.5 and Gurpreet Singh from Punjab scored 619.8.


In the 50m Rifle Prone Deaf Men category, Amit Kumar from Haryana scored 612.4, followed by Ravi Kumar from Punjab at 609.7 and Manoj Kumar from Delhi at 607.9.
