The RCB captain maintained his perfect record against the five-time champions, leading his team to a commanding 43-run victory in front of their home crowd. Patidar delivered an impressive performance, scoring 48 runs off just 19 balls, contributing to a record total of 250 runs—the highest ever posted against CSK.
