Exciting Matchup in Jaipur

On November 6, Rajasthan United FC aims to secure their initial points of the Indian Football League 2026-27 season as they face off against two-time champions Gokulam Kerala FC. Meanwhile, Real Kashmir FC will be looking for their first victory when they host Sreenidi Deccan FC in a double-header on Saturday.

The clash between Rajasthan United FC and Gokulam Kerala FC is set to take place at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur, kicking off at 16:00 IST. Following this, Real Kashmir FC will take on Sreenidi Deccan FC at the TRC Stadium in Srinagar at 18:30 IST.

Last season, Rajasthan United demonstrated strong performance, finishing third in the league phase and fourth in the Championship Phase with a total of 18 points, as per official reports.

Under the guidance of new Italian Head Coach Giuseppe Cristaldi, the season commenced with a narrow 1-0 loss to Sreenidi Deccan FC. Despite the defeat, Rajasthan showed promise, especially in the second half, where they created several chances, including a shot that hit the crossbar. However, a late goal from Nishu Kumar sealed the match for Sreenidi.

Cristaldi emphasized the importance of converting chances into goals, stating, "In football, if you do not score, you cannot win. People remember the goals, not the possession or chances created." He remains committed to his tactical approach but seeks greater precision in both offensive and defensive play.

Gokulam Kerala arrives in Jaipur with a contrasting mindset, having started their season with a 3-2 victory over Samaleswari SC. Their Brazilian players, Crislan da Silva and Victor da Silva, played pivotal roles in the win, with Crislan currently tied for the league's top scorer.

Head Coach Carlos Eduardo Parreira expressed confidence in his squad, highlighting their fitness and readiness for the match. He acknowledged Rajasthan's strengths and urged fans to support their team.

In the other match, Real Kashmir FC, coming off a 3-1 defeat to Nagaland United SC, aims to bounce back against Sreenidi Deccan FC. Head Coach Ishfaq Ahmed stressed the need for defensive discipline against a well-organized opponent.

Sreenidi Deccan, fresh off a win against Rajasthan, is prepared for a tough match in Srinagar. Head Coach Antonio Rueda expects a strong response from Real Kashmir, emphasizing the need for concentration and intensity.

With both matches promising excitement, fans can look forward to a thrilling day of football as teams vie for crucial points in the league.
