Lucknow Super Giants Struggle Continues

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced yet another setback in the IPL 2026 season, suffering a loss to the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This defeat marked LSG's ninth of the season, leaving them on the brink of finishing at the bottom of the standings with only one match remaining. Captain Rishabh Pant has expressed his growing frustration throughout this challenging season, which even led to an uncensored moment during a post-match interview.

In a conversation with former West Indies fast bowler and commentator Ian Bishop, Pant asserted that despite their current standings, he believes LSG possesses a strong team. In a candid moment, he used explicit language while emphasizing their potential. “We are proud as a team regardless of what our situation is right now. The kind of team we have, we know we can win this. Regardless of anything, we are confident enough as a team and as individuals. It hasn’t gone our way, and everyone knows that, but that doesn’t take away the fact that we are a fu****g good team,” Pant stated.
