Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis - On September 2, South African cricketer Quinton de Kock reached a significant milestone by joining the exclusive '10 T20 centuries' club, alongside Indian superstar Virat Kohli and Australian great David Warner. This achievement places him as the joint-third highest century scorer in T20 cricket.


De Kock accomplished this remarkable feat during a Caribbean Premier League (CPL) match while playing for the Barbados Tridents against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He scored an impressive 106 runs off just 57 deliveries, hitting 11 fours and six sixes, achieving a strike rate of 185.96.


With this performance, de Kock, Kohli, and Warner now each have 10 T20 centuries. They trail only behind West Indies' Chris Gayle, who leads with 22 centuries in 463 matches, and Pakistan's Babar Azam, who has 13 centuries in 359 matches.


Additionally, de Kock is closing in on the 13,000-run milestone in T20 cricket, potentially becoming the ninth player to reach this landmark. Currently, he has accumulated 12,867 runs in 457 matches and 433 innings, averaging 31.30 with a strike rate of 139.78, including 10 centuries and 84 fifties, with a personal best of 140*.


In the match itself, St Kitts and Nevis won the toss and opted to bowl first. De Kock's explosive innings, along with contributions from Zachary Carter (57 runs off 36 balls) and Sherfane Rutherford (26 runs off 16 balls), propelled Barbados to a total of 217/4 in their 20 overs.
