Pakistan's Squad Update for West Indies Tour

Dubai [UAE], July 25: The Pakistan national cricket team has welcomed back Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, and Shaheen Afridi for their upcoming tour of the West Indies, which includes a series of three T20Is and ODIs commencing on July 31.


After facing a setback in their recent T20I series against Bangladesh, Pakistan has bolstered its bowling attack with the return of seasoned bowlers Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali, as reported by the ICC.


Faheem Ashraf, who delivered a commendable performance in the last T20I against Bangladesh, retains his position, while Salman Mirza has been left out.


For the ODI series starting on August 8, Pakistan has opted for a squad filled with experienced players, with Hasan Nawaz being the only newcomer.


Mohammad Rizwan will captain the team during the three-match ODI series at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago. The T20 matches will take place at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, USA, where Salman Ali Agha will continue as captain.
