Novak Djokovic Expresses Desire to Meet Virat Kohli During Upcoming India Visit
Djokovic and Kohli: A Connection Beyond Borders
On Saturday, Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic shared that he and Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli have yet to meet face-to-face, but they have maintained a supportive relationship through messages and social media over the years. Djokovic expressed his hope to finally meet Kohli, suggesting they might play tennis and cricket together during his anticipated trip to India.
Djokovic stated, "Although we haven't met in person, we've been in contact for several years, cheering each other on and admiring our respective careers. I look forward to the opportunity to meet him and perhaps play some tennis and cricket together. I'm planning a visit to India soon, so that could be the perfect time to connect."

Looking ahead, Djokovic is set to compete at Wimbledon, where he has been placed in the same half as the reigning champion, Jannik Sinner. Additionally, Taylor Fritz is gearing up for an exciting first-round match against Jack Draper, which is expected to be one of the highlights of the tournament's opening round.
As a seven-time Wimbledon champion, Djokovic is on the hunt for his 25th Grand Slam title, aiming to end a title drought that has lasted since his last victory at the US Open in 2023.
Seeded seventh, Djokovic will kick off his campaign against Wu Yibing and may face Stefanos Tsitsipas or Hugo Gaston in the second round, followed by Arthur Rinderknech in the third round, Andrey Rublev or Brazilian Joao Fonseca in the fourth round, and potentially third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-finals if he continues to advance.
The main draw for the tournament is scheduled to take place from June 29 to July 12.
