The left-arm fast bowler was instrumental in putting the KKR batsmen under immense pressure, achieving his first five-wicket haul in the IPL with impressive figures of 5/23 over four overs. Notably, he claimed five wickets out of the first six, dismissing Tim Seifert, Ajinkya Rahane, Cameron Green, Rovman Powell, and Anukul Roy.

Previously, RP Singh held the best figures (4/22) against the franchise while playing for Deccan Chargers in 2009.
