Krunal Pandya Addresses Rumors of Rift with Brother Hardik
Krunal Pandya Clears the Air on Family Feud Rumors
Krunal Pandya, an all-rounder for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), has faced ongoing speculation regarding his relationship with his brother, Hardik Pandya. Recently, during a match against the Mumbai Indians in the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, the brothers had the opportunity to compete against each other on the field. As clips of Krunal bowling to Hardik circulated online, fans speculated about their relationship; however, Krunal dismissed any notions of a feud.
During an appearance on the RCB podcast hosted by Danish Sait, Krunal was humorously questioned about his rapport with the Mumbai Indians captain. He reassured listeners that everything was fine between them. When asked if there were any conflicts, he laughed and confirmed, "All ok." The host jokingly compared their dynamic to that of wrestling icons Kane and Undertaker, who also have their share of conflicts.
Additionally, Krunal addressed claims that he sledged Mukul Choudhary, a young player for the Lucknow Super Giants. He clarified that his comments were meant in jest, explaining, "I bowled to him, and on the first ball, he hit a paddle shot. I simply told him, 'Mukul, you're young; you can hit sixes over long-on or long-off.' It was all in good fun, but some misinterpreted it as sledging. People often think I'm serious because of my hairstyle, but that's not the case at all."
This season, Krunal has emerged as a key player for RCB, showcasing new skills that enhance his effectiveness in T20 cricket. His bouncers have caught many batters off guard, and he aims to impress the national selection committee for a chance to join the senior Indian team as RCB kicks off the season strongly.
