In a thrilling match at the Asian Games 2026 held in Aichi-Nagoya, India’s Jay Meena emerged victorious against Pakistan’s Arain Hussain in their Group D soft tennis encounter on Tuesday. Jay dominated the match, achieving a clean sweep with a score of 4-2, 4-0, 4-2, 4-0, as reported by ESPN.

On the women's side, Aadhya Tiwari faced a tough challenge, losing her singles match 1-4 to Thailand's Alisha Ziegler. The match concluded with scores of 4-1, 0-4, 0-4, 2-4, and 4-6.

To advance to the quarterfinals, Aadhya must secure a win against Pakistan's Kainaat Shallwani and hope that Kainaat defeats Ziegler in their upcoming match.
