This victory marks Mohun Bagan's fourth straight win, keeping them at the top of the league standings with 12 points, while Odisha FC remains in ninth place with just two points. Maclaren was named Player of the Match after his remarkable contribution, which included three goals in the first half.

Mohun Bagan's head coach, Sergio Lobera, made four changes to the starting lineup, introducing captain Subhasish Bose and Mehtab Singh in defense, Liston Colaco in midfield, and Australian striker Dimitri Petratos.
