Glasgow [Scotland], July 25: In a remarkable display of skill, India's Jadumani Singh triumphed over Scotland's Aaron Cullen, securing his place in the pre-quarterfinals of the men's 55kg boxing event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Competing against Cullen in front of an enthusiastic home crowd at the SEC, Jadumani showcased his composure and dominance throughout the match, as reported by Olympics.com.

The 22-year-old boxer achieved a flawless score of 10 from all judges in both the opening and second rounds, ultimately winning by a unanimous decision of 5-0.

Next, Jadumani is set to face Pakistan's Sumama Rehman in the pre-quarterfinals on Sunday evening, with a coveted quarterfinal spot on the line. Rehman advanced directly to this stage after receiving a bye in the preliminary round.

Having previously earned a silver medal in the 50kg category at last year's World Boxing Cup Finals in Noida, Jadumani has now transitioned to the 55kg division this season. Notably, he was the first Indian boxer to participate in the Glasgow 2026 event.
