To secure qualification, India must:

  2. If India loses one match, they need South Africa to also lose one and maintain a superior NRR compared to the 2023 and 2024 finalists, as well as Bangladesh. A loss to Bangladesh would result in India's elimination, as one of the Asian teams or South Africa would surpass them in points.
  3. If India loses both matches, they will be eliminated regardless of South Africa's performance, as Bangladesh would have more points than both teams.
