Vanshika Chaudhary and Shiva Narwal Win Silver

New Delhi, June 24: The talented duo of Vanshika Chaudhary and Shiva Narwal has brought home a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team junior event at the ISSF Junior World Championship 2026 taking place in Suhl, Germany.


The Indian shooters showcased remarkable composure and skill, contributing to India's impressive medal tally at the championship.


With this latest achievement, India's total medal count has reached 16, comprising 5 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals. The Indian team continues to lead the medal standings, demonstrating consistent excellence in individual, team, and mixed events, as reported by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).


Earlier in the week, Pritam Kendre secured a gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Men Junior event, marking the fifth gold for India at this championship.


Additionally, the Indian women's junior team, consisting of Anjali Mahendra Bhagwat, Parisha Gupta, and Nithila Ivy Darling Praveen Christopher, earned a bronze in the 25m Pistol event.


Another bronze was claimed by the men's junior team of Abhinav Choudhary, Raj Chandra, and Jatin in the 25m Pistol event, showcasing their strong teamwork.


Furthermore, Anvii Rathod contributed to the medal haul by winning bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Women Junior event, further enhancing India's successful campaign at the championship.
