Historic Win for Indian Mixed Disability Team

In a thrilling conclusion to the series, the Indian mixed disability cricket team triumphed over England by 118 runs in the final T20I match. The team celebrated their consolation victory by recreating the famous shirt-waving moment of Sourav Ganguly from the balcony at Lord's.


With an impressive performance, Arjun Gawre scored 68 runs off 44 balls, while captain Majid Magray contributed an explosive 63 runs from just 19 balls. This strong batting display helped India set a formidable total of 206 for four. In response, England struggled, getting bowled out for a mere 88 runs, thanks to the outstanding bowling from Hilal Ahmad Wani (4 wickets for 21 runs) and Jayesh Parmar (3 wickets for 14 runs).


Despite this victory, England clinched the seven-match series with a final score of 4-3.


The Differently Abled Cricket Council of India shared a video capturing the players and officials joyfully removing their blazers at the Lord's balcony, mimicking Ganguly's iconic celebration after India's historic NatWest Trophy win against England in 2002.
