Notably, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made history by becoming the youngest player to be selected for the national team following an impressive IPL season. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly making a significant exception for the young opener from Bihar.

Special Provision for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

In a notable shift from its usual travel policies, the BCCI has decided to allow Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's parents to accompany him on his first overseas tour with the senior team to Ireland and England, as per sources. For longer overseas assignments exceeding 45 days, players may have their partners or children under 18 join them, but only for a maximum of two weeks. Additionally, if any exceptions are made beyond this timeframe, the player is responsible for all associated costs, as the BCCI will not cover these expenses.
