India's Stellar Performance at ISSF Junior World Championship

New Delhi, June 22: The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has reported another remarkable achievement for the Indian team at the ISSF Junior World Championship 2026 held in Suhl, Germany, where Indian shooters secured four additional medals during the event.


Pritam Kendre showcased exceptional skill in the 10m Air Rifle Men Junior event, earning a gold medal and marking India's fifth gold of the championship, as stated in a recent press release.


In the 25m Pistol Women Junior Team event, the trio of Anjali Mahendra Bhagwat, Parisha Gupta, and Nithila Ivy Darling Praveen Christopher brought home a bronze medal, demonstrating a strong collaborative effort.


Another bronze was achieved in the 25m Pistol Men Junior Team event, where Abhinav Choudhary, Raj Chandra, and Jatin delivered a commendable performance to secure their spot on the podium.


Earlier in the competition, Anvii Rathod contributed to India's medal count by winning a bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Women Junior event, further enhancing India's impressive showing at the championship.


With these latest four medals, India's total medal count has reached 12, comprising 5 Gold, 1 Silver, and 6 Bronze. The Indian team continues to lead the medal standings, showcasing its strength and consistency in both individual and team events at the ISSF Junior World Championship 2026.
