Sandeepa Kumari (2'), captain Sweety Kujur (16'), and Nousheen Naz (33') scored for India, ensuring a successful conclusion to their tournament journey.

After a narrow loss in the semifinals to China via a shootout, the team was eager to rebound and made an impressive start, taking the lead just two minutes into the game.
