India Prepares for T20I Series Against Zimbabwe Amidst Recent Struggles

Team India is set to face Zimbabwe in a three-match T20I series following a challenging month in the UK. Led by Shreyas Iyer, the squad aims to secure their first T20I win since the 2026 World Cup. With a mix of experienced players and newcomers, India is optimistic about a successful series against a Zimbabwe team that hasn't won against them since 2015. The matches will take place at the Harare Sports Club, and fans can catch the action live on United8 Sports Channels and the FanCode app.

India's Upcoming T20I Series in Zimbabwe

After facing their third consecutive series loss in the UK over the last month, Team India has arrived in Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series. The squad, led by regular captain Shreyas Iyer, is under pressure as they have not secured a T20I victory since clinching the 2026 T20 World Cup title. Iyer's debut as captain was disappointing, with Ireland sweeping India 2-0. Following a match against England that was abandoned, India suffered four straight losses to the team led by Harry Brook.

Zimbabwe is not expected to pose a significant challenge, and India will be optimistic about achieving a clean sweep against the hosts, who have not defeated India since 2015. As the series approaches, here are the essential details:
