In the third and final ODI against England on Sunday (July 19), India was unable to successfully chase down a target of 388, resulting in a 27-run loss. Virat Kohli contributed significantly with a score of 74 runs off 60 deliveries, while Rohit Sharma led the innings with a remarkable 138 runs from 110 balls. Rohit showcased an impressive strike rate of 125.45, hitting 5 sixes and 17 fours during his innings. The duo of Kohli and Rohit formed a solid partnership, adding 113 runs for the second wicket in 87 balls, with Rohit scoring 71 runs off 48 balls and Kohli supporting with 38 runs from the same number of balls.

Unfortunately, apart from the top three batsmen, the rest of the Indian lineup struggled to make significant contributions, leading to their defeat and the loss of the three-match ODI series with a final score of 1-2.
