Aichi-Nagoya, Japan - On September 22, India showcased an impressive performance in men's hockey during the Asian Games, decisively defeating Sri Lanka with a score of 16-1 in a match held on Tuesday.

The Indian team maintained a strong grip on the game, with Jugraj Singh emerging as the standout player by netting four goals.

Both Abhishek and Dilpreet Singh contributed significantly, each scoring three goals, while Harmanpreet Singh added two more to the tally.

Additionally, Manpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Vivek Sagar Prasad, and Sukhjeet Singh each scored once, culminating in a resounding victory for India.

This remarkable win highlighted India's offensive prowess as they continued their campaign in the Asian Games with a stellar performance.

Mandeep Singh initiated the scoring in the fifth minute, followed by Jugraj Singh who extended the lead in the 10th minute. Abhishek then scored in the 11th minute, with Harmanpreet Singh and Abhishek contributing further to India's dominance.
