After the dismissal of Abhishek, Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan built a solid partnership, contributing 100 runs for the second wicket. Samson scored an impressive 89 runs, marking his third score above 80 in the tournament, while Kishan added a quickfire 54 off just 25 balls. Despite a brief collapse where India lost four wickets in three overs, Shivam Dube's explosive 24 runs in the final over propelled India to a formidable total of 255/5.
