Venue Change for Upcoming Multi-Day Match

The multi-day fixture between India A Women and Australia A Women, originally set to take place in Dharamshala from September 29 to October 2, has been moved to Mohali. This decision was made due to the adverse effects of continuous rainfall on the outfield and the current ground conditions.

The match will now occur at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, which is also the venue for the ongoing three-match One-Day series between the two teams, as stated in a release from the BCCI.

This venue change follows the first One-Day match, where India A Women achieved a four-wicket win while chasing a target of 236 runs.

After an early struggle at 46 for three, India A Women bounced back with a significant 126-run partnership between Tejal Hasabnis and Anushka Sharma. Hasabnis scored 81 runs off 82 balls, hitting six sixes, while Sharma added 55 runs to the total.

Earlier, effective bowling from Vaishnavi Sharma and Raghavi Bisht limited Australia A to 235 runs, following an 81-run opening partnership between Tahlia Wilson and Rachel Trenaman.

Australia A had previously completed a clean sweep in the three-match T20I series, winning all matches held at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh.

The second One-Day match is currently in progress at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium, with the third match also scheduled to take place at this venue on Friday.

This multi-day match will wrap up the series between India A Women and Australia A Women.
