Semi-Finalists Confirmed for Women’s T20 World Cup 2026

London [UK], June 29: The group stage of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has concluded after 30 thrilling matches, confirming the four teams that will compete in the semi-finals: Australia, England, West Indies, and South Africa.

The league phase wrapped up at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Sunday, highlighted by an exciting match between Australia and India. Australia achieved a remarkable feat by completing the highest successful run-chase in Women’s T20 World Cup history, defeating India by six wickets and advancing to the semi-finals without a loss.

Australia topped Group A and will face West Indies, who secured the second position in Group B. This highly anticipated match is set for Tuesday at The Oval in London, showcasing two teams with a rich cricketing heritage.

Australia holds the record for the most Women’s T20 World Cup titles, having won six times, with their latest victory in 2023. In contrast, the West Indies claimed their sole title a decade ago.
