Afghanistan's Squad Announced for India Series

Kabul [Afghanistan], May 24: Hashmatullah Shahidi has been appointed as the captain of the Afghanistan cricket team for the upcoming one-off Test and three-match ODI series against India, set to commence on June 6.


The Test match will take place in Mullanpur starting June 6, followed by the ODI series which kicks off on June 14 in Dharamsala.


The subsequent ODIs are scheduled for June 17 in Lucknow and June 20 in Chennai.


The ODI lineup features key players such as Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Rahmat Shah, Ibrahim Zadran, Rashid Khan, Azmatullah Omarzai, and the experienced Mohammed Nabi. Notably, Nabi, Rashid, and Ibrahim will not participate in the Test match.
