The Indian team secured fourth place in the medal tally at the Asian Games 2026, achieving an impressive total of 21 gold medals, with athletes from Haryana contributing significantly by winning 14 of those medals.
Among the gold medalists, five athletes excelled in individual competitions, while nine others triumphed as part of various teams. Notably, women athletes from Haryana played a crucial role, with two securing gold in individual events and six in team competitions.
In addition to their gold achievements, Haryana's athletes also excelled in the silver and bronze categories. Four athletes earned silver medals in individual events, and five teams from the state claimed silver in their respective competitions.
Furthermore, eight athletes from Haryana brought home bronze medals in individual events, and a team from the state contributed to the bronze medal count, enhancing India's overall medal tally.
In total, Haryana's athletes amassed 32 medals at the Asian Games 2026, showcasing the state's rich sporting heritage and the exceptional talent being developed there, which has established a strong presence on the global sports stage.
