In Vadodara, Gujarat, fast bowler Harshit Rana has expressed admiration for Shubman Gill's approach to captaincy, labeling him as a 'free and aggressive captain' who instills confidence in his players to showcase their skills on the field.
During a post-match press conference, Rana spoke highly of Gill's decision-making clarity and his ability to remain composed under pressure.
"He is a free and aggressive captain. When he needs to make a decision, he considers it carefully and then proceeds without stress," Rana remarked.
Rana also pointed out that one of Gill's key strengths as a leader is his talent for empowering his teammates.
"I appreciate that aspect; being a free captain means allowing players the freedom to express themselves on the field. That is one of his best qualities," he noted.
