They commended his exceptional performances, leadership qualities, and significant contributions to the sport.

Kane has made history by becoming the first English player to secure the Ballon d'Or since Michael Owen in 2001, triumphing over notable contenders like Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal to earn this prestigious accolade.

Tuchel expressed his admiration for Kane, stating, "Congratulations Harry on a well-deserved Ballon d'Or! I have run out of words to describe your performances, but it brings me joy to see you recognized by the football community. Being the first Englishman to win this honor in 25 years makes it even more special, and we are fortunate to have you leading us. Enjoy this moment with your family and then return to what you do best – scoring goals and winning matches," as reported by England Football.

Prince William also took to Instagram to commend Kane, calling him a remarkable player and captain who has provided football fans around the globe with countless unforgettable moments. He wrote, "Huge congratulations to Harry Kane on winning the Ballon d'Or! This is a fantastic achievement and so well-deserved. A brilliant captain and an extraordinary player who has given football fans worldwide so many memorable moments."

Kane had an outstanding season, netting 73 goals and assisting eight times, totaling 81 goal contributions. His efforts were pivotal in helping Bayern Munich clinch the Bundesliga, German Cup, and German Super Cup. This marks the first Ballon d'Or for a player who has long been regarded as one of the best in the world.

This award signifies another significant milestone in Kane's career, as he has established himself as one of Europe's top strikers before joining Bayern Munich, where he has continued to secure major titles.

The prestigious award comes after Kane's impressive performance in the Bundesliga, where he scored 36 goals in 31 matches, leading Bayern Munich to the 2025-26 German league title. Although Bayern was eliminated in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League by the eventual champions Paris Saint-Germain, Kane still managed to score 14 goals in 13 matches, including goals in both legs of the quarterfinals against Real Madrid and the semifinals against PSG.

His scoring prowess was crucial to Bayern's successful campaign, earning him one of football's most esteemed individual honors at the ceremony held in London.

Additionally, Kane contributed six goals and an assist for England, helping the Three Lions secure a third-place finish at the 2026 World Cup.
