On July 13, in Florida, former England captain David Beckham received a legacy cap from current team leader Harry Kane, celebrating his impressive 115 international appearances. This heartfelt presentation occurred just before England's quarter-final match against Norway in the FIFA World Cup 2026.


The event took place at Inter Miami's training facility in Fort Lauderdale, where the England squad prepared for their successful 2-1 victory over Norway, securing their spot in the semi-finals. Beckham, who co-owns the Major League Soccer team, welcomed Kane, head coach Thomas Tuchel, and the entire England team to the modern training complex.


Throughout his 13-year international career, Beckham made 115 appearances for England, participating in five major tournaments and serving as the national team's captain.

Interestingly, both Beckham and Kane hail from Chingford, East London, where they attended Chingford Foundation School and began their football careers with local club Ridgeway Rovers before eventually captaining the England national team.
