Witch Doctor's Intervention for Harry Kane

Massachusetts [US], June 24 (News Media): Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a witch doctor from Ghana, has reportedly lifted a spell he cast on England's captain, Harry Kane, following the player's lackluster performance in a goalless draw against Ghana during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Prior to the match, Bonsam, who identifies as a spiritualist, announced his intention to hinder Kane's scoring ability against his home country.

In a video shared on social media, Bonsam stated, “Now I am going to release Harry Kane so that in his next match, he can score. Harry, I will come and visit you. Don’t take it personally; we are friends.”

Although Kane netted two goals in England's 4-2 victory over Croatia in their opening match, he struggled significantly against Ghana, managing only 19 touches—his lowest in a major tournament while playing a full 90 minutes, according to Sky Sports.

Reflecting on his missed opportunities, Kane remarked, “I was waiting for a chance like that to come my way. It did, but I just couldn’t get over the ball. As a striker, I know that not every chance will go in.”

England's next group stage match is scheduled against Panama on June 28 in New Jersey.
