New Zealand Cricket's Thrilling Home Summer Lineup

Wellington [New Zealand], June 3: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has revealed an exhilarating home summer schedule, featuring both the men's and women's teams in a series of significant international matches. A highlight of this schedule is the eagerly awaited all-format tour by India.

During this extensive 12-match series, India will face New Zealand in five T20 Internationals, five One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and two Test matches, marking the most comprehensive international tour ever organized by NZC, as noted by the ICC.

This tour will also see India return to New Zealand for Test matches for the first time since 2019, and it will be their first limited-overs visit since 2022.

After India's tour, the New Zealand men's team will host Sri Lanka for a complete series starting January 16, which includes three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Test matches.

The New Zealand women's team, currently in England preparing to defend their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup title, will host Bangladesh for a six-match limited-overs series from December 10 to 23, consisting of three T20Is and three ODIs.

This series against Bangladesh will be the White Ferns' only home assignment this summer. Originally, they were set to tour Australia in February-March 2027, but those plans have been postponed due to the rescheduling of the inaugural ICC Women’s Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka to February 2027. Consequently, the trans-Tasman series will now occur at a later date.
