Meanwhile, Fulham managed to secure a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw against Liverpool, and Manchester United fought back to draw 1-1 with Leeds United during the ongoing 2025-26 EPL season.

With this result, Manchester City has narrowed the gap with league leaders Arsenal, accumulating 42 points from 20 matches, while Arsenal remains at the top with 48 points from the same number of games.

Chelsea holds the fifth position in the Premier League standings with 31 points, closely followed by Manchester United, who are sixth with an equal points tally. Fulham sits at 11th place with 28 points, while Leeds United is positioned 16th with 22 points.

In the match between Manchester City and Chelsea, the home team took the lead when Tijjani Reijnders scored in the 42nd minute.

However, Chelsea made a remarkable comeback as Enzo Fernandez netted a last-minute equaliser during stoppage time, resulting in a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium.
