Al-Nassr Dominates Al Akhdoud in a 3-0 Victory

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his exceptional talent by scoring two goals, leading Al-Nassr to a commanding 3-0 victory over Al Akhdoud on Saturday. This win marks Al-Nassr's tenth consecutive triumph in the Saudi Pro League, propelling them four points ahead of Al-Hilal at the top of the standings, with a total of 30 points from their first ten matches of the 2025-26 season.

With this brace, Ronaldo's career goal tally reached an impressive 956, placing him 60 goals ahead of his longtime rival, Lionel Messi.

From the outset, Al-Nassr applied relentless pressure on Al Akhdoud's defense, seeking an early goal. After several missed opportunities, the hosts finally broke the deadlock just after the 30-minute mark when Ronaldo scored from close range, following a corner taken by Joao Felix that was flicked on by Angelo Gomes.

Just before the halftime whistle, Ronaldo added to his tally, doubling the lead with a skillful finish after receiving a pass from Marcelo Brozovic inside the box.

In the second half, Al-Nassr nearly scored again when Kingsley Coman struck the crossbar. Al Akhdoud sought a penalty in the 55th minute after Blaz Kramer fell, but a VAR review determined he was offside.

Ronaldo appeared to have completed his hat-trick in the 66th minute, but the goal was disallowed due to an offside call against Sultan Al-Ghannam during the build-up. Joao Felix later capped off the match with a goal in the closing minutes.

This 3-0 win not only signifies Al-Nassr's tenth straight league victory but also solidifies their position at the top of the Saudi Pro League, extending their lead to four points over their nearest rivals.

Although Al Akhdoud's defense held strong for the initial 30 minutes, they faltered after Ronaldo's first goal, struggling to keep up with Al-Nassr's relentless attack for the remainder of the match.
