Rajesh Sorte also shone with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 23 runs in just 2 overs. This match marked the first-ever win for Chennai Singams against Majhi Mumbai in ISPL history.
After winning the toss, Captain Ankur Singh opted to bat first, a decision that proved to be advantageous as the Chennai Singams showcased their batting strength.
Jagannath Sarkar ignited the innings with an explosive start, scoring 15 runs in just 5 balls, including 9 runs off the third ball of the opening over, setting the team score at 19-0 after the first over.

As Kabir Singh and Thomas Dias attempted to build a partnership, Rajesh Sorte struck again, dismissing Dias in his second over. Jagannath Sarkar's two overs were economical, conceding only 6 runs, which helped maintain Chennai Singams' momentum.
Captain Ankur Singh played a crucial role by taking the wicket of the well-set Kabir Singh, while Ashish Pal, with figures of 2/17, dismissed all-rounder Abhishek Kumar Dalhor, sealing the victory for Chennai Singams.
