Britain secured their spot with a 3-1 triumph over Australia in Melbourne. After establishing a 2-0 lead from the singles matches on Friday, Harriet Dart and Jodie Burrage clinched the tie with a doubles win, defeating Storm Hunter and Ellen Perez 6-3, 6-4, ending the Australians' unbeaten streak in doubles since November 2022.
