Security Lapse Exposes Argentina's Squad Information

Alabama [US], June 10: A significant security blunder has reportedly led to the exposure of passport information for all members of the Argentina national team ahead of their upcoming friendly match against Iceland, including star player Lionel Messi, as reported by a news source.

The passport numbers were included in the official team sheet, which was supposed to have sensitive details redacted before being shared with the media and the public.

Unfortunately, these documents were circulated without any redaction at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Alabama, making the confidential information accessible.

Argentina wrapped up their preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a commanding 3-0 victory over Iceland in their final warm-up match.

Despite an early scare when Iceland missed a clear chance in the first few minutes, the world champions quickly took control of the game.

Valentin Barco opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a stunning long-range shot, giving Argentina an early lead.
