As Brazil prepares for their World Cup opener against Morocco on June 14 in New Jersey, Ancelotti acknowledged the challenges the team faced prior to his appointment in May of last year. The Italian manager is the first foreign coach to lead Brazil to World Cup qualification, stepping in during a time when the team's chances seemed uncertain.

I have maintained a high level for so long thanks to having a qualified coach like him," he concluded.
