Reflecting on her unexpected success, Tanvi expressed, "Honestly, I didn’t anticipate winning. With nothing to lose, I felt no pressure and focused on giving my all while playing my natural game. The results speak for themselves." She was at the Chandigarh Badminton Academy in Zirakpur, where she engaged with aspiring young players alongside her elder sister, Radhika Sharma, a national champion and international player.

During her interaction, Tanvi emphasized that with the right effort, anything is achievable.

She shared her journey, mentioning how she was inspired by her sister and the sacrifices made by their mother.

"At first, it seemed like I had to work much harder. But I persevered alongside my sister. My mother has always shown immense dedication and sacrifice. We both believe that hard work is essential for success," she advised the young trainees at the academy.

The Chandigarh Badminton Academy honored both Tanvi and Radhika with trophies and sports kits.

"The Sharma sisters have brought immense pride to our nation and the state of Punjab. Tanvi’s recent achievement is akin to a young athlete winning a World Cup. She demonstrated the importance of composure and overcoming the fear of facing stronger opponents. We wish her continued success and hope she wins more tournaments to achieve a top global ranking," remarked Surinder Mahajan, a former international coach and director at the academy.

Tanvi also spoke about her idol, PV Sindhu, and how she learned to manage pressure while competing against elite players.

"Sindhu didi is my inspiration. Her words motivated me greatly, igniting a desire within me to work harder and reach her level. When facing top-30 players, maintaining patience until the final point is crucial, which helped me secure the Taipei Open," she explained.

On the topic of training facilities for young players, Tanvi noted the growing popularity of badminton in recent years and suggested that existing infrastructures could be enhanced to create professional training centers.

"The sport has gained significant traction recently, thanks to our senior players' performances on the international stage. This has encouraged stakeholders to invest in grassroots initiatives and provide young players with top-notch facilities. I believe that in the near future, every city will have a professional academy dedicated to training young talent," concluded the 17-year-old star.
