McGregor Teases WWE Involvement

Conor McGregor has once again sparked speculation about a potential WWE appearance by playfully taunting Roman Reigns with a brief post. Following this, McGregor spoke out regarding the possibility of joining WWE, but his response was ambiguous. He expressed uncertainty about his involvement with the sports entertainment giant, stating, “I don’t know, bro—don’t know. They’re going to platform their own combatants and, you know, put them next to these guys, put them next to our guys, let it be seen by the public, and then we’d actually have something to look forward to on our side—bouts to look forward to. But remember, these guys cash in here and there, etc., etc.—that builds the story,” he told Adam's Apple. Despite several hints, McGregor has yet to make an official WWE appearance, although a storyline with Reigns seems likely if he does.

Roman Reigns Holds the World Heavyweight Title

Roman Reigns is the World Heavyweight Champion

Currently, Roman Reigns is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. He secured this title by defeating CM Punk in the main event of Wrestlemania 42, marking his first championship win since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 40. Reigns triumphed in the Royal Rumble 2026, granting him the opportunity to challenge the champion of his choice. He opted to face Punk rather than Cody, resulting in their first one-on-one match at Wrestlemania. Since then, Reigns has successfully defended his title on two occasions, first against Jacob Fatu at Backlash 2026 and again at Clash in Italy, where Fatu ultimately acknowledged Reigns as the Tribal Chief. Meanwhile, Punk is currently on a hiatus from WWE, having last appeared on Raw following Wrestlemania 42, but he is anticipated to return soon for a significant match at SummerSlam.
