As Tony Schiavone was in the ring promoting a contract signing between AEW World Champion MJF and challenger Kenny Omega, Rogue Pyro erupted, signaling Jericho's entrance. The familiar tune of 'Judas' played as he made his way to the stage, where he was met with roaring applause from the audience. After soaking in the moment, Jericho addressed the crowd with a heartfelt message: "Winnipeg! AEW! I'm home," before the music played again.

Following his emotional return, Jericho greeted fans at ringside before heading backstage. The show then shifted focus to a backstage altercation between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley, leading into the contract signing without Jericho's involvement.

Jericho had been absent from AEW programming for nearly a year after losing the ROH World Championship to Bandido at last year's Dynasty event. Recently, he filed a trademark application for 'The Cornerstone', fueling further speculation about his return to AEW or a possible move to WWE.
