Chero Archers and Prithviraaj Yodhas Dominate in Archery Premier League

In the latest round of the Archery Premier League, Chero Archers and Prithviraaj Yodhas both achieved their third consecutive wins, solidifying their positions at the top of the standings. The defending champions, Rajputana Royals, suffered their third straight defeat. The league, featuring six teams and 48 archers, is set to conclude with a grand finale on October 18. Upcoming matches promise more thrilling action as teams vie for supremacy.
 

Chero Archers and Prithviraaj Yodhas Lead the Standings

In an exciting turn of events at the Archery Premier League (APL), Chero Archers and Prithviraaj Yodhas secured their third victories, establishing themselves at the top of the leaderboard. Meanwhile, the defending champions, Rajputana Royals, faced their third consecutive loss on Sunday.


Chero Archers, driven by the impressive performance of Atanu Das, have emerged as the most consistent team this season. They kicked off the day with a decisive 6-0 win against the local team, Kakatiya Knights. Following this, the Yodhas continued their winning streak by overcoming Chola Chiefs with a score of 6-2. The highlight of the day was a thrilling match where the Marathas triumphed over the Royals with a close 5-3 victory. Both Chero and Yodhas now sit at six points each after four matches, while Chiefs and Royals languish at the bottom with only one win each, according to a press release.


The APL, recognized as the world's first franchise-based archery league, is organized by the Archery Association of India. It features six teams and a total of 48 archers, including 36 Indian competitors and 12 elite international stars. The league is being held at People's Plaza in Hyderabad and will conclude on October 18 with a grand finale showcasing the top four teams in the semifinals, followed by the championship match.
