CSK's Upcoming Matches in IPL 2026

The five-time champions are set to kick off their IPL 2026 campaign against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on March 30. Following this match, CSK will take on the Punjab Kings on April 3, followed by a clash with the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on April 5. CSK will then face the Delhi Capitals on April 11.

MS Dhoni's Potential Final Season

This season could be particularly significant as CSK's legendary player, MS Dhoni, is expected to play once more. There is widespread speculation that this might be his last season in the IPL.

At 44 years old, Dhoni is one of only four players to have participated in every IPL season, alongside Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Manish Pandey. Throughout his IPL journey, he has amassed 5,439 runs in 278 matches, boasting an average of 38 and a strike rate of 137, placing him sixth on the all-time highest run-scorers list.
