Chandigarh Golfer Harmeet Kahlon Triumphs at Surjan Singh Sanghera Memorial Tournament

Chandigarh golfer Harmeet Kahlon, alongside his teammates, secured a remarkable victory at the Surjan Singh Sanghera Memorial Golf Tournament in Edmonton, Canada. With a stellar score of 11-under par, they triumphed in a competitive field. Kahlon also showcased his skills in the PGA of Alberta Pro-Ladies Golf Championship, finishing tied-third. As he prepares for the upcoming PGA of Alberta Seniors Golf Championship, Kahlon's achievements highlight his dedication to the sport and his role in the golfing community.
 

Victory at the Surjan Singh Sanghera Memorial Golf Tournament

Harmeet Kahlon, an Arjuna Award recipient and golfer from Chandigarh, along with his teammates Sam Sekhon, Karan Dhaliwal, and Joey Napora, emerged victorious at the Surjan Singh Sanghera Memorial Golf Tournament. This event took place at the Red Tail Landing Golf Course in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.


The team achieved an impressive combined score of 11-under par in the Texas Scramble format, securing their win through a countback after finishing in a tie with two other teams. This tournament is a significant charity event organized by the Indian Punjabi Golfing Community.


Additionally, Kahlon and his partner Carmen Kropinak secured a tied-third position in the PGA of Alberta Pro-Ladies Golf Championship held at Millwoods Golf Club, accumulating 40 Stableford points. They represented Broadmoor Public Golf Course, where Kahlon holds the position of director of golf and head professional.


As a professional golfer based in Canada, Kahlon is set to participate in the upcoming PGA of Alberta Seniors Golf Championship at McKenzie Meadows Golf Club in Calgary, scheduled for August 25 to 26.
