Anubhav, who did not compete in singles, emphasized the importance of their doubles victory. "Although I couldn't play singles, teaming up with Anmol in doubles was fantastic. His singles win and our doubles triumph made it a memorable experience for us both," he shared.
He further noted that sharing this success with his brother added to its significance. "Winning alongside my brother made it even more special. Their victory was celebrated not just by the siblings but also by their family and teammates, who provided unwavering support throughout the tournament. "Our parents and club members were there cheering us on. With 22 players from our club participating, it was a truly memorable experience for everyone involved," Anmol added.
The Picklebay Zonals - North is an IPA-sanctioned PWR 700 event with a prize pool of Rs 15 lakh, serving as the senior selection trials for the upcoming Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang.
