Both teams walked away with a point. Morocco dominated the early stages, creating numerous opportunities, and took the lead in the 21st minute through Ismael Saibari's goal. However, Brazil's Vinicius Jr equalized just 11 minutes later, ensuring the five-time champions remained competitive as they headed into the second half.

The second half saw both sides continue to attack vigorously, with Brazil particularly ramping up their efforts. Raphinha was instrumental in creating chances, but outstanding saves from goalkeepers Bono and Alisson kept the scoreline unchanged, despite the intensity of the match.

Brazil slightly edged possession with 51.2% and managed 13 shots compared to Morocco's 14.

The match began with Morocco earning a free kick in the third minute due to a foul by Roger Ibanez, but they failed to capitalize. Neil El Aynaoui and captain Achraf Hakimi also had opportunities, but Brazil's defense held firm.

As the game progressed, Brazil began to assert themselves, with Igor Thiago and Raphinha creating half-chances. However, it was Morocco who struck first, with Brahim Diaz assisting Ismael Saibari, who scored to put Morocco ahead 1-0.

Morocco continued to threaten Brazil's defense, with Hakimi making several runs into the box, and Saibari's attempt was blocked by Gabriel Magalhaes. The North African side registered 11 shots within the first half hour.

Brazil, showcasing their championship pedigree, equalized in the 32nd minute when Vinicius Jr received the ball on the left, cut inside, and unleashed a powerful shot into the top corner, igniting celebrations among Brazilian fans.

As the first half drew to a close, Brazil received two yellow cards, with Ibanez and Casemiro cautioned. Lucas Paqueta nearly gave Brazil the lead with a scissor kick, but Bono's exceptional goalkeeping kept the score level at 1-1 at halftime.
