Exciting Return of Professional Cricket

The National Capital Region is gearing up for the return of professional cricket with the Big Cricket League (BCL) announcing the dates for its eagerly awaited Season 2. This season is slated to take place from June 3 to June 13, 2026, at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida. The tournament will showcase six well-prepared franchise teams competing in 18 thrilling T20 matches.


Defending Champions and Unique Format

The Mumbai Marines, the reigning champions, are set to return with a revamped and dynamic tournament structure that merges elite international play with emerging domestic talent. According to a press release, the tournament's foundation is its innovative Pro-Am format, which will feature 60 selected amateur cricketers from across India sharing the field with 18 former First-Class and IPL players, along with 36 renowned global stars such as Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Chris Gayle, Ross Taylor, Thisara Perera, and Tillakaratne Dilshan.


EaseMyTrip as Title Sponsor

The BCL has confirmed the return of EaseMyTrip, a leading online travel technology platform, as the Title Sponsor for Season 2, continuing a successful partnership following a groundbreaking inaugural season. To enhance international viewership, BCL has established a comprehensive global media distribution strategy. In India, matches will be broadcast live on Eurosport and streamed digitally on FanCode. The league's syndication network will also broadcast the tournament live to sports audiences in over 25 countries. In a bid to enhance the venue atmosphere and provide local fans with direct access to international stars, organizers have announced that entry to the stadium will be free for all matches during the 11-day event.
