On July 14, Karnataka's Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced that the operating hours for hotels and restaurants in Bengaluru will be extended from 1:00 AM to 3:30 AM on July 14, 15, and 19. This change aims to accommodate fans eager to watch the late-night FIFA World Cup matches.
This decision follows a request made by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI).
The semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup are scheduled for July 14 and 15, featuring exciting matchups such as France versus Spain and England against Argentina.
