The remaining league matches, totaling 50, are set to take place from April 13 to May 24, 2026, across 12 different venues in India. The matches will occur in cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamsala, Raipur, and New Chandigarh, as stated in an official IPL announcement.

Kickoff of the Second Phase
The action resumes on April 13, featuring a match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, setting the stage for an exhilarating series of games.

Match Schedule Overview
The second phase will include eight double-header matches, with afternoon games starting at 03:30 PM IST and evening matches at 07:30 PM IST.
Punjab Kings will host their matches in New Chandigarh and Dharamsala, with three games scheduled in Dharamsala.
Rajasthan Royals will play four home games in Jaipur, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru will have three home matches in Bengaluru and two in Raipur.
Recap of the First Phase
Previously, the BCCI had announced the first phase of IPL 2026, which will run from March 28 to April 12.
The tournament will kick off with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru facing Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
In total, 20 matches will occur across 10 venues during the first phase, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Guwahati, New Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad.
This phase will feature four double-headers, with afternoon matches starting at 03:30 PM IST and evening matches at 07:30 PM IST.
Following the opening match, the Mumbai Indians will compete against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
The first double-header is scheduled for April 4, 2026, with Delhi Capitals facing Mumbai Indians in the afternoon at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, followed by Gujarat Titans against Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Home Ground Distribution for Teams
Rajasthan Royals will kick off their home matches in Guwahati, hosting Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
Punjab Kings will play their initial home games at the PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh.
Throughout the season, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will have five home matches in Bengaluru and two in Raipur.
